Orestes Escalona Perez
Born on November 30 1966 in Hoguin.Cuba
He started his musical studies at “Guillermo Tomas Conservatory” in Havana concluding his studies in 1987 in the specialty of piano.
In 1990 he creates a duet formed by piano and violin and later changes to different format creanting a jazz quartet with a bas fiddle, piano, violin and percussion.
In the year 2002 he reorganizes his musical format establishing his repertorie in classic jazz, traditional Cuba music introdicing: the Cuban son, the bolero, and chachacha. On this melodic the “Enfasis” trio was founded formed by clarinet, a bass fiddle and piano.
His work consists mainly on singing, derecting and musical arranger ..
His performances take place in the Northeastern tourist area of the Island playing for the international tourism at Cubanacan Hotels, and Sol Melia Rio de Oro (Hotel Paradisus).
